We are delighted to welcome Professor Ewan Pearson (University of Dundee), an endocrinologist internationally recognised for his work on the phenotypic and genotypic determinants of diabetes drug response in diabetes and stratified approaches to diabetes and obesity care.

Ewan leads the IMI-DIRECT project and is an investigator in the IMI-SOPHIA project examining diabetes and obesity outcomes respectively. He also leads the iDiabetes programme in Scotland, integrating precision diabetes care with real-world pharmacogenetic data collection.
Ewan will be giving two seminars
Tuesday 5th May 10-11am – Pharmacogenetics of Type 2 Diabetes
Wednesday 6th May 9-10am – iDiabetes platform Scotland
