Dr Matthew Sullivan

Dr Matthew Paul Sullivan is a Research Fellow in the Structural Biology Group in the School of Biological Sciences at the University of Auckland, mentored by A/Prof. David Goldstone and Prof. Christian Hartinger. Matthew obtained his PhD in 2020 in Biological Chemistry, his research explores the interaction between anticancer agents and biological molecules. Currently, Matthew is investigating the highly specific interactions of an anticancer drug with a cytoskeletal protein, aiming to elucidate its potential in inhibiting metastasis. Matthew looks forward to joining the early career steering committee and hopes to engage with many MWC Early Career Researchers during his time on the Early Career Steering Committee.
